Our experienced team provides transparent, high-quality case management and guidance at every stage. The services listed below are included in our agency fees for all intended parents; some coordinated services may involve separate charges from third-party providers.

Matches from the heart

We build matches that are based on shared goals and respect. A strong relationship with your gestational surrogate will foster the collaboration and respect needed for a successful journey. 

We will look for a surrogate who meets the requirements set by your fertility clinic and the preferences you’ve shared with us. 

Our proven, personalized matching process ensures each client views one carefully selected profile at a time. The profile you receive will include estimated costs for a journey with that specific surrogate. We then facilitate a match meeting to explore compatibility.

We prescreen surrogate candidates before they are accepted into our program. Every surrogate meets the requirements listed here and has passed the following: 

  • phone interview(s)
  • criminal background check of candidate and any other adults living in the household
  • OB medical clearance
  • professional medical records review
  • virtual home visit
  • psychological evaluation and testing
  • professional insurance review

Coordination

We will manage the logistical details of your journey and coordinate the necessary steps between you, your surrogate, and your providers. 

This includes medical screening, fertility and obstetric appointments, meetings with attorneys and other providers, legal filings, and legal procedures/hearings.

We will make travel arrangements for your surrogate if the medical clearance and embryo transfer appointments are not in their area.

We coordinate with your delivery hospital to ensure they are fully prepared for a surrogacy pregnancy, including confirming receipt of parentage paperwork and facilitating communication with key staff.

We provide an additional layer of oversight to your escrow account, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements. We’ll keep you informed of major upcoming expenses, so you can plan accordingly.

We connect with your providers to ensure medical testing is completed on time, legal paperwork is executed according to best practices, and everyone is prepared for the birth of your little one(s)!

Expert Guidance

Our team will guide you and your surrogate through the necessary steps for a successful journey. This includes helping you connect with providers, locate resources, and support you through the  ups and downs of your journey. 

You and your surrogate will start your journey with accurate and transparent information about the surrogacy process and industry standards. We’ll also have touch points at major milestones to go over details of the next steps.

Heartland Surrogacy will serve as an intermediary in your match so that you can focus on your relationship and the joy of pregnancy.

In addition to regular check-ins, you and your surrogate have the option of setting up support sessions with your case manager. They can be individual or recurring meetings.
