Surrogacy is a highly personal and emotional undertaking, and you deserve to have support that is tailored to your needs. Our team leverages our expertise to provide transparent, exceptional, and compassionate case management services. We will guide you through this life-changing journey, from beginning to end.

Matches From the Heart

We build matches that are based on shared goals and respect. A strong relationship with your gestational surrogate will foster the collaboration and respect needed for a successful journey. Our surrogates look forward to the bond you will form in building your beautiful family.

Mediation

You will benefit from having the Heartland team serve as an intermediary in your match. Because we will manage the business aspect of your arrangement, your relationship with your surrogate will be focused on the health and joy of pregnancy. We will also assist in connecting and working with the other professionals collaborating to make your dream a reality.

Coordination

Our staff can coordinate all necessary scheduling and travel arrangements during your journey, as needed. This includes preliminary psychological evaluations and testing, medical screening, fertility and obstetric appointments, meetings with attorneys and other providers, legal filings, and legal procedures/hearings.

Surrogate Support

We understand the enormous trust you’re placing on your surrogate. Much of your journey relies on your surrogate’s health and wellbeing, and we will work diligently to support them. Our team will guide your surrogate from acceptance into our program to the time of delivery, and through postpartum recovery. Your surrogate will be able to focus on the pregnancy and building your beautiful family.

We prescreen surrogate candidates before they are accepted into our program. Every surrogate meets the requirements listed here and has passed the following:

  • Phone interview
  • Criminal background check of candidate and any other adults living in their household
  • Social security verification
  • Obstetric medical records review by a registered nurse
  • Home visit by a member of our staff
  • Initial insurance review, with professional review available on request
