Surrogate Requirements | Waiting After Delivery To Be A Surrogate

If I recently delivered a baby, how long do I have to wait to become a surrogate?

surrogate requirement question: how long after delivery to become a surrogate

To increase the likelihood of a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby, it is best to wait 12-18 months after delivery before a woman becomes pregnant again. If you want to become a surrogate, that doesn’t mean you need to wait 12-18 months after delivery to start the application process!

First, you will go through our application and screening process, matching, psychological and medical screening, and complete legal contracts. After these steps, you will start medications to prepare for the transfer.

We ask that surrogate applicants wait a minimum of 6 months from their last delivery before beginning the application process. Your individual circumstances and the requirements of the fertility clinic you are working with will determine when the embryo transfer can take place.F
